Snacking moves faster than anything else we supply. A concept becomes a sample request becomes a limited run becomes a national launch — or becomes nothing — inside a window that would be a planning cycle in cereal. The constraint is rarely the ingredient. It is how long it takes to get the ingredient, how many options you can try before the window closes, and whether the supplier who was helpful during development is still reachable at volume.
The second constraint is the label. Snacking is where clean-label pressure is most direct, because the consumer is holding the package while deciding. Every ingredient has to earn its place on a statement people actually read.
So this category rewards two things: breadth, so a formulator can explore without opening five vendor relationships, and speed, so exploring does not cost the launch window.

Functional considerations
Water activity across a mixed pack. In a trail mix, every component negotiates moisture with every other one. Nuts go soft, fruit goes hard. Specify the set, not the pieces.
Oil migration in fried formats. Where fried components sit next to fruit, oil moves. It affects mouthfeel and shelf life before it affects safety.
Sulfite and allergen labelling. Apricot in particular forces an early decision between colour and a shorter statement.
Piece size for portioning. Snacking is sold by pack weight and judged by appearance. Consistent sizing does both jobs.
Clean-label framing. We can tell you what an ingredient's sourcing story supports and, more usefully, what it does not.
Why snack manufacturers work with us
Breadth without extra vendors. Twenty-seven ingredients across six categories, one vendor number, one quality standard, one call.
Sampling in 48 hours. From regional stock. Explore four options in a week instead of a quarter.
Small first orders. Trial quantities and secondary-supplier slots are normal here, not a favour.
Formats you cannot get elsewhere quickly. The vegetables line is new and unusually flexible on custom cuts while it is being built out.
